Editorial Policy
How we create, verify, and maintain our content.
Our Commitment
At MyErasmus, our mission is to provide accurate, helpful, and up-to-date information for students planning their studies abroad. All content published under the MyErasmus editorial entity undergoes a strict review process to ensure high quality and reliability.
Data Sources
The quantitative data presented on our destination and university pages (such as cost of living, weather, student populations, and Erasmus codes) is sourced exclusively from verified, official, or highly reputable public data sets, including:
- The European Commission (Erasmus+ Programme Data)
- National Educational Agencies (e.g., SEPIE in Spain)
- Numbeo (for cost of living estimates)
- Open-Meteo (for climate data)
Use of Artificial Intelligence
We leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI) to structure data, translate content, and generate initial drafts for our city hubs and programmatic pages. However, our use of AI is strictly governed by the following rules:
- No AI Hallucinations: AI is only allowed to generate text based on the verified data points we provide it. It is not permitted to "guess" or invent facts about a city.
- Human Oversight: All AI-generated structures and templates are designed, reviewed, and approved by human editors before being deployed.
- Transparency: Content that is primarily aggregated and formatted by our automated systems will be clearly identified as part of the MyErasmus database.
Updates and Corrections
We strive to keep our information as current as possible. The "Last Updated" date on our pages reflects the most recent time the data was refreshed or the content was reviewed. If you spot an error, please reach out to us at hello@myerasmus.com.
